All the work we do is guided by our five-year strategic plan and organized in three conservation program areas: Linking Landscapes for Wildlife; Climate Change, Energy and Wildlands; Special Landscapes.

Here is what we're working on now:

• Solar Energy Zones / SPEIS - the BLM's latest effort to plan for solar energy development on Nevada's (and other western states) public lands.
• Renewable energy projects and priority projects.
• Sage-grouse- Our work to help strengthen Nevada's iconic bird, a candidate for the Endangered Species Act
• Wilderness and Habitat - legislative opportunities, wildlife corridors and current wilderness campaigns
• Wild & Scenic Film Festival - held every fall in Reno and Las Vegas.
