Restoration Trip in the Desert Refuge
|
We are privileged and proud to have so many people across the state volunteer for NWP. From booksellers to bloggers and fundraisers to farmers, our volunteers make us a stronger and smarter organization. For example, Jaime Sousa volunteered to write about Nevada's native plants for our website, and UNR student Michael Koch has brought his GIS skills to our mapping work. Tyler Roemer, photographer extraordinaire, has helped us explore and document some of Nevada's most out-of-the-way places. And over the years, many people have hosted fundraising house parties benefiting NWP. They serve up great food and hospitality to new people interested in supporting conservation work in Nevada. There are lots of ways to volunteer for NWP. Probably some we haven’t even thought of yet, but maybe you have. Please contact us with your ideas, or click here to learn more about opportunities and membership.
